Quick & Easy to Make: Porkchop + Ginataang Sitaw at Kalabasa

This meal is perfect for on-the-go students and yuppies. One, it so easy to make. Two, ingredients can be found at any supermarket near you (bought all my ingredients at SM Supermarket). Three it's super affordable for anyone on a budget!!


Ingredients for Porkchop:  
- 2 slabs of Pork (P81.27)
- Salt & Pepper
- Magic Sarap
- Cooking Oil

Steps for Porkchop:
  1. Season pork with salt, pepper, and magic sarap.

  2.  Heat the pan and add cooking oil.

  3. Fry pork in low heat for 7-10 mins each side.

  4. Serve.

Ingredients for Ginataang Kalabasa at Sitaw

(Squash & String Beans with Coconut Milk):
- 1/2 Kalabasa/Squash cut into cubes (P25)
- Bundle of Sitaw/String Beans cut in about 1 inch long(P21)
- Coconut Milk ( I used 40 g Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix for P27.50)
- Cooking Oil
- 1 Onion, coarsely diced
- 4 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
- Salt & Pepper

Steps for Ginataang Kalabasa at Sitaw:
  1. Heat the pan and add cooking oil. Saute garlic and Onion.

  2. Add squash and string beans. Saute.

  3. Add the ginataang gulay mix. (Diluted in 1 1/2 cup of water)

  4. Bring to boil over low heat until the squash and string beans are tender and cooked.

  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve.

The entire meal costs Php 154.77 only. Definitely cheaper than eating out!
